  50. !Draw->WMF is a Utility for converting Draw to Windows Metafiles
  51.  
  52. This version supports is a quick convert of Draw-CGM to Draw->WMF
  53. currently the following will not work

  61. Installation
  62. ~~~~~~~~~~~~
  63. The Draw->WMF arc file should have been restored to a directory named
  64. !Draw->WMF. Which should contain the following files :-
  65.  
  66.  
  67.            !Run        : Draw->WMF Startup file.
  68.            !Sprites    : Draw->WMF Application Sprites
  69.            Templates   : Template files
  70.            draw-wmf    : Draw->WMF Application.
  71.            ~~config    : Configuration file for Draw->WMF. 
  72.            !Help       : This file.

  74. Tailoring.

  77.     The !run file should be altered to suite your requirements :-
  78.

  80.     Modules required :-
  81.  
  82.        The Shared C Library should be loaded as appropriate for
  83.        your setup. The supplied !run file assumes that the C
  84.        shared library module is in !system.modules.
  85.  
  86.        The Floating Point Emulator should be loaded as appropriate for
  87.        your setup. The supplied !run file assumes that the FPEmulator
  88.        module is in !system.modules.  
  89.                        
  90.     Variables required :-
  91.  
  92.        DrawWMF$Dir is required in order for Draw->WMF to find its various
  93.        configuration files.

  95.     Storage required :-
  96.  
  97.        !Draw->WMF has been tested with a wimpslot size of 160k
  98.        on a machine with 32k pages. lower values may be possible
  99.        on machines with smaller page sizes.
  100.  
  101.        The file to be converted is loaded into a buffer claimed from
  102.        the next slot. The space is return immediately after the conversion,
  103.        so you should not be able to see the change.
  104.        
  105.        If !Draw->WMF  prompts that it does not have enough memory to process, 
  106.        then !Draw->WMF must be restarted, having made provision that 
  107.        the next slot is large enough.

  109. Operation.

  112.      1) First click on the !Draw->WMF icon. This will install the !Draw->WMF
  113.         icon on the icon bar.
  114.  
  115.      2) To convert a Draw file drag the file to the !Draw->WMF
  116.         icon on the icon bar. This will popup a save wmf window. Drag the Draw
  117.         file icon to the required destination.

  128.       Rather than have !Draw->WMF prompt for the target file, it is possible
  129.       to set a default path and have the target name created as default path
  130.       plus filename. To do this you drag the Draw file icon to the target directory
  131.       or application and set the Direct option. With the direct option set the
  132.       output Draw file will automatically be created.
  133.  
  134.       Note if you use this option sensibly with an application then the receiving
  135.       application must support the Draw file type.
